2030 flips the script from 2029. The Perseids peak on the night of August 12 to 13 under a moon 99 percent full and are largely lost, while the Quadrantids on January 3 fall on a new moon and the Ursids on December 22 on a 4 percent crescent. The eta Aquariids and Orionids get thin crescents too. The Geminids are a middle case, with a 78 percent moon rising mid evening. Every peak below is paired with the moon that night, because moonlight decides how many meteors you actually see.
A note on the times. The International Meteor Organization publishes its calendar about a year ahead, and the 2030 edition does not exist yet. The peak instants here are computed from the IMO's own solar-longitude value for each shower's maximum, the same method the IMO uses; tested against the published 2027 calendar it lands within 3 minutes on 7 of 8 showers. When the IMO 2030 calendar is out, its figures replace these lines, and the replacement is dated.

ZHR is the zenithal hourly rate, the idealized count under a perfectly dark sky with the radiant overhead. Real counts from a good dark site run about a third to a half of it.
When do the Quadrantids peak in 2030?

The Quadrantid maximum is sharp, a few hours wide, and that instant favors Europe, Africa, and western Asia, where it falls in the late evening as the radiant in the northern sky begins to climb. The best hours for Europe run from about midnight to dawn on January 4, after the peak but with the radiant much higher. North America gets the post-midnight hours of January 3 to 4 as well, past the peak but still active. With no moon at all this is the best Quadrantid year of the decade, and rates of 60 to 100 an hour are realistic from a dark, cold site.

A 78 percent waning gibbous moon rises around 21:00 to 22:00 local time and stays up for the rest of the night, so the moonless window is the early evening before it rises, when the radiant in Gemini is still low. Expect the brightest third of the shower to show through the moonlight afterward. A fair year for the strongest annual shower.

How do you watch a meteor shower?
You need no equipment. Get to a dark site away from city light, give your eyes 20 to 30 minutes to adapt, lie back, and take in the whole sky rather than staring at one spot. The hours after local midnight are almost always better than the evening because your side of Earth is then facing into the stream. Check the Moon before you drive out with tonight's moon phase, and if a shower falls on a bright moon, go a week early rather than skipping it.
